Mizoram won the title in the Sub-junior (U-15) Girls National Football Championship, thrashing Haryana 3-0 in the floodlit final at Barabati Stadium here today. Earlier in the semifinals, Mizoram edged out Jharkhand 2-1, while Haryana blanked Bihar 4-0.
State Sports Secretary Saswat Mishra handed over the trophy in the presence of Odisha Olympic Association secretary Asirbad Behera and AIFF Women Football Manager Indu Choudhury. Host Odisha flattered to deceive as they crashed out in the quarterfinals of championship.
